Greetings Battlelords! We should be sending out the post-kickstarter surveys to our backers shortly. In addition, if you didn’t get a chance to pledge during our kickstarter campaign, we will be launching a “Late Backer” site in the next few weeks, where you can pre-order the 7th edition of The Battlelords of the 23rd Century roleplaying game. We continue to revise the playtest rules and work on the 7th edition manuscript. Thanks for your support and feedback.

It has been an amazing kickstart for us and we appreciate everything you’ve all done to back our Kickstarter, share the news of our campaign with friends, and support the effort to get the 7th Edition of Battlelords into print. We also appreciate all of the feedback on the playtest material.  

Our goals are to improve the game and share the game with a wider audience. Even as the kickstarter campaign has been going on, we’ve been working on additional improvements (*cough* more Ultra Armor Weaponry and Spaceships! *cough*). We are utilizing Backerkit to help us wrap-up the Kickstarter campaign. Expect our kickstarter surveys to arrive via email in about 2 weeks. Be sure to specify your shipping location if you're outside of the United States. You'll also be able to add additional pledges to your existing pledge through BackerKit if you want an extra copy of the book, or want to upgrade your pledge! We'll post additional details as we get them.  

Going forward, we’ll be communicating a lot less frequently - approximately monthly. We'll be focusing our efforts more on developing 7th edition and less on updates. For those backers with a reward that ties to content going into the book, you questionnaire will have specific questions about your content.

Stretch Goal #2 is unlocked and we're on to Stretch Goal #3!

Stretch Goal #3 ($18,000): Uncle Ernies Catalog of Dangerous Creatures 2275

Stretch Goal #3 gives a little more depth to the aliens out there. Sometimes you’d rather face an Alien rather than a heavily armed mercenary protecting a pirate’s stolen goods, other times, you see the plus side to something that won’t rip your arms o‭ff‬ or steal your sanity.

This 48pp (est) PDF “Uncle Ernies catalog of dangerous creatures 2275 ce” will focus on some of the dangerous aliens you may find deployed by anarchists trying to take down the government, allied to the Ak-Nar-Ryn, or maybe just infecting a space ship that made a rift run and is now drifting towards shipping lanes. For those who've been around a while, you’ll recognize some of these guys from Uncle Ernie’s Minions of Doom but rest assured there will also be some fresh faces.‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Stretch Goal #4 (19,000): is another free lancer bonus‭. This is brings the total bonus up to 10% for our freelance artists.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Thank you so much for helping us achieve our goal and starting a new era in Sci Fi roleplaying. Releasing a new and updated set of core rules is the first of many steps we have planned. Having a community that is committed to the game will help us grow the whole system and provide more support for our community’s imagination. Hitting the initial funding goal will give us the base to expand the Battlelords universe.
