Page Layout
All chapters are in final layout and the first eight (of 14) chapters are finished and in final proofing. Once the all the chapters are finished and proofed they’re off to the printer. Those who ordered PDF copies of the book can expect them shortly after the chapters are done with final proofing. You can see the two-page intro to the combat chapter below.
Pre-Orders
Once the chapters are done with final review and assembled into the master PDF for distribution and printing, pre-orders will close. Lastly, keep in mind that the retail price of the book will be significantly higher than the kickstarter/pre-order price. Pre-order Battlelord here!
Gen Con 2019
Every year we try to Gen Con the go-to event for Battlelord's fans new and old. Each year we expand the number of Battlelord’s games at Gen Con, and this is no exception. We are up to 18 events at Gen Con 2019, with 10 events already sold out. Two more events are nearly sold out. Battlelords Events at Gen Con 2019

On May 19th, at Noon (Eastern Time) the Gen Con 2019 gaming convention in Indianapolis, Indiana will unlock its event system to allow players to register for events. Gen Con is the largest gaming convention in North America.
Some of the people working on the new Battlelords book have been attending Gen Con since 1988 and have been working hard to re-establish a Battlelords presence at the con. There have been Battlelords events at Gen Con for at least the last 5 years, and last year we had an amazing turn out running more events than even before. The staff at Gen Con who organize the events made the decision last year to put roleplaying games in smaller rooms, which greatly reduced the amount of background noise and it worked out spectacularly (Thanks @Derek Guder and everyone else at event coordination!).
This year we will be running even more events than last year. Eighteen events this year! If you’re a hardcore Battlelords fan, have ever played Battlelords in the past, or have wanted to try a sci-fi game with a unique blend of para-military action and dark humor please sign up for an event. Alternatively, if you’d like to try a sci-fi game that doesn’t have goblins in it or isn't based on a game system that has goblins, give us a try! We need your support! Event summaries are below!
A perfect scenario for those who enjoy playing characters with a criminal bent!
“You're getting paid to break into the skimmer train transporting convicts on the planet Hades, which is covered in lakes of acid, before it reaches the submerged Purgatory prison. Who else is on the train, and how dangerous do they have to be to earn a stint on a penitentiary that it’s at the bottom of a lake of hyper-corrosive liquid? How hard could it be?”
It’s Just a Routine Inspection
A great mission for characters who enjoy a bit of a mystery, a pinch of Battlelord’s universe history, and a heaping helping of cosmic horror!
“Working as a colony inspector on the frontier is a rewarding job. Colonists appreciate the medical care, news updates, and supplies you bring, except for Colony RB7-1A. They don't want you here. Why isn’t their landing beacon turned on? The colony appears to be a paradise. Is it too good to be true? What’s lurking in the shadows and why do the colonists want you gone ASAP?”

One of Battlelord’s strengths has always been its military roots. Here’s your chance to play a grunt on the front line with rampaging Arachnid hordes, towering suits of Ultra Armor, and you!

A favorite from Gen Con 2018 returns! For those who enjoy a comedic twist to their Battlelords games.
“You have to extract a genius scientist from a corporate facility on Balshrom-owned weapons development world. The report says the scientist will go with you willingly. Sounds like easy money.”
Last Resort on the Space Report
A Scenario we’ve been running at Gen Con for years! Always a fan favorite for its mix of chaos and carnage! Pirates, Mercenaries, and a few of Uncle Ernie’s minions make sure things go off the rails fast!
“There in an infestation about a luxury space station. Crew are starting to disappear. You job is to clean up the mess without the guests becoming any the wiser. How hard can it be?”

PAGE LAYOUT
Layout on the book continues. Several chapters are now in final layout. We have opted to again expand the page count of the book to squeeze in all the material in the book.
PRE-ORDERS
Pre-orders will be closing shortly before the book is expected to ship. Because of the increased page count we expect the retail price of the book to be SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER than the kickstarter/pre-order price. If you’re on the fence about whether the pre-order or wait, I can tell you with absolute certainty that you will be paying significantly more for the book if you don’t pre-order.
When we got a “What is the Eridani fighting?” comment on our last post it occurred to us that we have never shown Stuart Ellis’s amazing artwork depicting the arachnid horde. Scavernaut Juggernauts, Jenkari, Airborne Guillotines, Demonants, and winged Jenkari (aka Flutters). Well, here it is! Enjoy!

Page layout on the book continues. All text is in layout and we're just checking the last few chapters before we start finalizing the layout and adding the artwork. We'll try to post another update on the layout progress later this month.
Gen Con 2019
We just received word that all eighteen (18) of our Gen Con 2019 events will be listed in the event catalog when it goes active on May 19th. We will be running three never-before-seen scenarios this year and one of our classic Gen Con adventures. We hope to see Battlelords fans from all over the world at the convention! www.gencon.com

Page Layout
Page Layout on the chapters continues. The image of the first two pages of the Skills & Stats chapter are a work-in-progress. We are still tweaking the color palette. Eight of the 14 chapters are being finalized in layout. The remaining 6 chapter are in layout but are being proofed for errors.
